About Living Waters PGH
The livingwaterspgh.org website was originally created in 2015 for the Living Waters of Larimer project. In 2019, the Living Waters of Larimer project website was moved to a42.livingwaterspgh.org so that the domain can be used to support the evolving Negley Run Watershed Task Force, also in Pittsburgh’s East End. These projects are interdisciplinary collaborations to engage community, creatives and professionals to assist the City and related agencies charged with stewarding our waters.
In 2019 and 2020, the Pittsburgh Parks Convervancy (PPC) and 3 Rivers Wet Weather (3RWW) engaged a team consisting of CivicMapper, Ecosophic Strategies (John Stephen), and evolveEA to expand livingwaterspgh.org into a broader resource for the Pittsburgh region. It supports the Parks Conservancy’s initiative to create watershed task forces for all six of PWSA’s priority sewersheds, modeled after the Negley Run Watershed Task Force.
